I handle all types of data recovery at extremely reasonable prices.  I was thrilled to recently “recover” a Mac hard drive for $200 when Tekserve wanted $500.

Even if you don’t use me, be skeptical:  tech people will call it “data recovery” because when they make it sound like a big deal, you’re more likely to pay whatever it takes.  The vast majority of the time it does not require high level technology – it’s just not something the layman would know how to do.

That lady at Tekserve?   Well, they were charging her the worst case scenario with no possible discount for it being the best case scenario. Unless your drive is physically damaged with dents or liquid, your data has an excellent chance of being recovered.
